Born and raised in Venice, the passion for photography was born at an early age, watching my father playing with his old camera. Thanks to him and my curiosity, I turned my passion into a profession.
I learned the printing process by working in a photo development and printing lab, then worked extensively on still life photography in a specialized studio. After this experience I began my career as a street reporter, specializing in local news and working mainly for the newspaper “Il Gazzettino.” Since I felt I wanted to expand my horizons, I decided to turn to international news agencies, and since 2003 I have been working with Reuters and other international agencies.
In addition to my career as a photojournalist, I enjoy taking portraits, documenting cultural and private events such as art openings, film premieres, opera and ballet, conferences, celebrities, weddings, and all kinds of celebrations of life.

Alice wondered a little at this, but she was too much in awe of the Queen to disbelieve it.
